Recently Hands of The Carpenter served two different clients who work for other organizations that serve single parents and widows in need! Cathy* works with Jefferson County on a part time basis with children and youth of single parents; Mandy* works for a Christian outreach in the inner city of Denver which cares for the single parents and families of their neighborhood. Both women are single mothers. It is always a delight to serve the women the Lord brings our way; there was an extra measure of joy to serve other women who serve the widows of our time. Both vehicles needed brake repairs; one car was in desperate need of new tires, and the other needed work on the steering column. As we visited with each woman, they realized that even though they care for women in difficult situations, they themselves need support and encouragement. So, they both are going to join our women’s group beginning this month!
