Hazzell – single mother of a 2 ½ boy (father is in prison) – she works seasonally for a club and manages their snack bar; works part time during off season. She came to us with a 1997 Buick. The vehicle’s repair needs were too extensive, so we are unable to help her at this time. She is on the wait list for a donated car.
Tamara – single mother of 2 children – working for a non-profit organization to help children with vision needs – 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass – The vehicle’s repair needs were too extensive, so we are unable to help her at this time. She is on the wait list for a donated car.
Lidya – single mother of 4 children of her own; helping to raise a homeless child as well. works in telemarketing – her transmission went out – she is on the wait list for a donated car.
Monica – mature widow on disability – 1996 Honda Accord – oil leaking
Lucinda – single mother of 2 children; commutes to Longmont every day for her job – 1997 Subaru Legacy – acceleration very poor, CV axel
Ashley – single mother of 2 boys going to school full time at Red Rocks Police Academy – 2002 Honda Civic – front and rear brakes; rear defrost not working; 2 front windows will go up or down
Monique – single mother of 4 children – currently unemployed - 2003 Ford Focus – coolant leaks; loud sound when driving
Monica – single mother of 4 children – lost her job because of her vehicle not working – 1999 Ford Escort – car will not start; has replaced battery
There are three women in great need of a donated car. These are possible clients - when we looked at the repairs needed, the cost of fixing their current vehicle was more than the car is worth, and would not be a wise investment of our funds. Please consider donating a vehicle to a family in need!
