Our story time this month is a story of prayer – of our crying out to God, and of His faithfulness to answer us quickly!  Last month we had calls from four single women whose car repair requirements  were beyond what is financially wise for us to invest in (replacing transmissions, engines, …) So as our prayer team gathered, we ask the Lord to meet these “widows” (single women without the covering of a husband) at their point of great need.  We had a hopeful expectation to persevere in prayer and press into our God – to trust Him – for nothing is impossible – and we were blessed beyond what we could have hoped or imagined!  In one month, four cars were donated to HoTC!  The Lord provided a safe vehicle for each of the specific women we had prayed for (on average, we might receive two or three cars a year!)

What a beautiful reminder that God hears the cries of our hearts, He sees our needs, and to never give up in prayer.  Luke 18:1-8
